一年了，轉眼間從跌跌撞撞的寄出第一個貨櫃到現在已經一年了，沒想到在短短的這段時間裡，舊鞋救命step30聯合了數十萬人的愛心，募集了三四十萬雙的鞋子，而我也因此有榮幸在大型活動和媒體中分享上帝所賜給我們一家人的恩典。
一直到現在，每天傍晚我和太太散步禱告時，我們常常笑著說：沒想到我這個輟學生也能受邀在各大校園演講，這個月收入兩三萬的年輕人竟然有機會和大企業家、政治家坐在同一張辦公桌上討論如何改變社會，最重要的是我們能幫非洲的孩子們穿上鞋子，策劃貨櫃教室來改善他們的未來，這是我們夫妻兩怎麼也預料不到的祝福。
以前常常有人問我：“你這樣忙來忙去，但是收入也不是很穩定，沒有房子，沒有投資，你不會擔心嗎？”
我覺得：“人生最後往回看的不會是我們累積了多少財富，而是累積了多少的回憶，雖然無法致富，但我們每一天的生活都是在編織著一段我們能夠一輩子回憶的故事，而我們也感激並期待上帝在接下來的一年又會帶我們踏上哪些精彩的旅途。”

I can’t believe it’s been a year since we stumbled through sending out our first container to Kenya. It’s amazing to look back and see how Step30 has collected over 400’000 pairs of shoes with over 100’000 people’s help. Through that, I have had opportunities to share with people about God’s amazing work in many events and media.
Even till now, whenever my wife and I go out for our prayer walk, we often laugh and say: Who would’ve thought that this school dropout will get invited to give speeches in all the schools, and how is it possible for people like us who make minimum wage to sit down with successful business men and politicians talking about how to change our society. Most importantly, my wife and I never imagined we could started a project to put shoes on so many African kids, and planning to build container classes for their education.
People often ask me: “Even though you’ve got your hands full, but you still don’t have a steady income. No house, no investment. Aren’t you worried?”
I think: “At the end of the day, people only look back on their life to count the memories they have accumulated, not money. I’ll probably never get rich by doing what I do, but every day, we’re experience stories after stories that are worth remembering for the rest of our life. We are so grateful and excited to see where God is taking us this coming year.”
